DescriptionA joke bill sent to James Roosevelt after a cruise on the Nourmahal
NotesAstor would send these joke bills to his shipmates following a crusie. This bill was sent to James "Jimmy" Roosevelt, FDR's eldest son. The cruise lasted from March 27-April 7 1935 and the Nourmahal hosted Lord and Lady Clifford the Governor of the Bahamas and Prince George and his wife, the youngest sibling of the King of England who would later become the Duke and Dutchess of Kent.
